Celestial Familiar Creature Planter

A familiar is a low ranking demon that assumes an animal shape. While most see familiars as a toad, dog or cat, sometimes familiars are creatures of fantasy. An amalgam of several creatures. That is how these familiars came to be. They are beautiful fantasy creatures aimed to assist you in your rituals by helping you grow plants and herbs or being a storage container for candles and other necessities.

These babies are made with love and take about a month to create. They are wheel thrown, carved/sculpted and dried for a week then fired in a kiln at approximately 1,975 degrees F. After the first firing they are glazed and dried for 24 hours minimum before going in the kiln again (reaching approx 2,270 degrees F) for the colorful and shiny glass finish. After the second firing these celestial creatures are embellished with Gold Luster and fired one last time.

As they are handmade, please expect some slight imperfections. Brush strokes may sometimes be seen in Gold Luster. Check pictures!!
