Born in the quiet crossing between what was and what’s becoming, this incense burner embodies the space between endings and renewal. Each wisp of smoke rises like a memory - a reminder that transformation often begins in the unseen.
As with all my work, everything is done by hand. This piece in particular was crafted with patience and love. I smoothed every curve, rolled and shaped every seed with my fingers, added every single scale on the snake... one by one. As its creation evolved, so did my wonder for what is possible when we set our mind to it.
This new work came is very special as it came after a long hiatus. It reignited that fire in me to create, to love and cherish what I have within my reach.
